You are not alone! Many patients feel excessive anxiety at just the thought a dental appointment. Perhaps it's a bad experience, the smells or sounds, fear of needles, sensitive teeth... Whatever the reason, we have the solution: Sedation Dentistry.
In today's world, our time is at a premium. Many people have busy schedules that prevent the many short visits necessary to complete their dental work. Sedation Dentistry is the answer! We can accomplish years of delayed dental work in a matter of one to two appointments!
Sedation Dentistry is here to provide you with unmatched comfort and completion of many dental services, all within one appointment! Once you've experienced Sedation Dentistry, you'll never be afraid to go to the dentist again. You'll be sedated just enough to be unaware of the treatment, as if you were sleeping. You'll wake up refreshed, with little to no memory of the experience.
At Watertown Dental Care we know how important oral hygiene is to your overall health. We are passionate about providing dental care to everyone and dedicated to not allowing fear to be a barrier to a healthy smile. That is why we have implemented an alternative to traditional anxiety ridden appointments known as Sedation Dentistry.
You can feel confident in Watertown Dental Care's ability to perform Sedation Dentistry. Dr. Darin Bach has led the way in Sedation Dentistry, cementing himself as a leader in Sedation Dentistry for the state of South Dakota. As a Fellow in both D.O.C.S and Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Bach has an immense amount of experience and education in the area of Sedation Dentistry. He has passed his passion and knowledge of this subject on to his dental team. With Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, Dr. Bach maintains an exceptional level of safety for his patients. All patients are given a complete medical history review and constant monitoring during treatment to ensure their safety and comfort.
Dr. Bach specializes in IV sedation. When you arrive, you will be escorted to your room and treatment will start when you feel comfortable. We will not begin until you are completely relaxed and give us permission to get started. Often times we can get a lot of dentistry done in a short period of time. Frequently, even all the dentistry that you need in that one visit! When the appointment is over someone will drive you home and the rest of the day you will just relax. The day after your dental appointment you should feel back to normal and the best part is you won't remember much, if anything, about your visit!
We have successfully performed both routine check ups and more invasive procedures with the use of Sedation Dentistry. Our patients have expressed their satisfaction with the process and their gratitude for offering a relaxing alternative. The introduction of Sedation Dentistry has allowed patients who have avoided the dentist for years to receive the oral care they need.
